The Network University Medicine (NUM) has established the NUM University Medicine Transfer Office (UTN) to strengthen pandemic response efforts. The UTN aims to systematically transfer innovative research results and digital solutions from NUM projects across German university hospitals and beyond. It coordinates knowledge transfer processes, supports the implementation of research findings into clinical practice, and develops sustainable infrastructures to enable the broad application of scientific outcomes. Through these efforts, the UTN plays a key role in fostering a learning healthcare system and enhancing preparedness for future health crises.
